At the BAU trade fair in Munich this January, Agrob Buchtal showcased its commitment to sustainability by launching the “Road to Net Zero” initiative. This comprehensive strategy outlines the company’s ambitious goal of achieving climate-neutral tile production, leveraging renewable energy, digital efficiency, and innovative technologies such as solar-powered kilns. Agrob Buchtal plans to combine its renowned expertise in ceramic production, “Made in Germany,” with the green technology and digitalisation expertise of its new owner, Meta Wolf AG. We believe this initiative will deliver significant, measurable results. This is exciting news for Australian architects, who increasingly prioritise suppliers capable of substantiating their sustainability and environmental claims with tangible evidence.
Complementing this sustainability focus, Agrob Buchtal unveiled two exciting new tile collections at Bau. SOLID GROUND, a collaboration with renowned designer Hadi Teherani, offers a versatile range of tiles designed to be combined in countless ways, empowering architects and designers to create unique and personalized spaces. The collection features a diverse palette of colours and formats, including large-format tiles and mosaics, all crafted with a focus on durability and sustainability.
Further expanding its portfolio, Agrob Buchtal introduced the OCEAN pool tile collection. This innovative series captures the essence of both aesthetics and functionality, with tiles designed to mimic the look of water while offering exceptional durability and easy maintenance. OCEAN is poised to elevate the design of aquatic spaces, creating a seamless transition between the pool and its surroundings.
By showcasing its commitment to sustainability and unveiling these captivating new collections, Agrob Buchtal solidified its position as a leader in the tile industry.
